| Shaboobs attack AMISOM soldiers in Qoryole |

| According to news reports from the Lower Shabelle region, African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) peacekeepers were attacked by Al-Shabaab insurgents in the Qoryole town of Lower Shabelle. The fight erupted near the Qoryole bridge and the terrorist assailants attacked an AMISOM convoy which resulted in death and casualties. Witness report that significant losses were incurred in the clashes although they are unable to estimate the precise numbers of casualties. |
