| ANP troops kill nine Tamanrasset terrorists |

| [MAGHAREBIA] Algerian troops on Monday (May 5th) killed nine snuffies near the Malian border, Tout sur l'Algérie reported. The operation took place in the region of Touendart, Tamanrasset province, according to Alhadathdz.com. The defence ministry said that eight automatic Kalashnikov-type rifles, an RPG-7 and a "large amount" of ammunition were seized. In other security news, El Watan reported on Monday that a roadside kaboom targeted gendarmerie patrol south of Kadiria, Bouira province one day earlier. Three coppers were maimed in the blast. |
