| Hefazat yet to come up with a 'casualty list' |

| [Dhaka Tribune] One year elapsed since the radical Islamist group Hefajat-e-Islam ...a madrassa-based false nose and mustache of the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, formed in 2010 to protest against secular education. In 2011 demonstrated violentyly against women's rights and in 2013 held large rallies demanding capital punishment of Shahbag Square protesters and banning women working outside the home... Bangladesh had claimed that thousands of its activists were killed in a combined operation of law enforcers to drive them out of the capital, but not a single name of the dead had so far been revealed. Hefazat men turned up in the heart of the capital's Motijheel area on May 5 last year to stage a rally in support of their 13-point demand. |
