| Mortar shells flung in towns of Lower Shabelle region |

| Shabelle has received news reports from Lower Shabelle, indicating that drones and mortar shells were used to attack certain towns in the region including Tixsile. Residents living in Tixsile revealed to Shabelle that deafening sounds were heard when the drones landed on civilian homes in the town, resulting in severe fatalities. For the past few days, soldiers of the Somali Federal Government from the National Intelligence & Security Agency and Somali National Army have been fighting each other after disputes in removing illegal roadblocks deposited in the region. |
