| Factory manager killed in 'sectarian attack' |

| [DAWN] KARACHI: A 38-year-old general manager of a factory was rubbed out in a targeted attack on his car in the Manghopir area on Wednesday morning, police said. The Pirabad police added that Ejaz Najaf Shah was attacked by armed motorcyclists near Nusrat Bhutto 'Mor' shortly after he left his residence in his car. He sustained three bullet wounds and was rushed to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead He's dead, Jim! on arrival, the officials said. Pirabad SHO Fasih Zaman said the victim originally hailed from Gilgit. He said that the murder could be related to the ongoing wave of sectarian violence in the metropolis.
