| #6 Sotomayor took twelve minutes to summarize her dissent. "We cannot wish away racial inequality," she said. The Bronx-born justice has written extensively about the role affirmative action played in her own education. Bottom line: Discrimination is necessary to solve discrimination. WTF ? |

| #5 Three years later, affirmative action opponents persuaded Michigan voters to change the state constitution to outlaw any consideration of race. They speak as if the voters were for Affirmitive Action before - I'm not sure of that was the case. Yahoo news - not quite as biased as MNBC - but not for lack of trying... |
