2014-04-15 |
[Al Ahram] Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed the current premier of Crimea as the peninsula's acting governor on Monday, another step towards its establishment as a region of Russia. Sergei Aksyonov, who has been prime minister since the start of the region's drive to separate from Ukraine, will hold the post until elections, according to a decree published on the Kremlin's website. |

#1 Again, as long as there is no US-led ABM-BMD in Ukraine nor a Ukraine armed either indigenously or by NATO wid Nukes, Russia amy not invade the Eastern or Se Ukraine Regions. The other scenario Putin may likely accept is Ukraine-based ABM-BMD + Nukes under "joint/combined" US-NATO + Russian control. The Bammer + Kerry have to start thinking of the CRimea as Russia's GITMO, + the remiander of Ukraine + Eastern Europe as the Russian equivalent of the Caribbean, i.e. Russia's ".Backyard" |
