LBCI television confirmed the news, saying Shandab was held in Hara Barranieh.
The military institution had announced on Wednesday the arrest of 33 people, including 14 Syrians, in Tripoli.
It also seized 15 cycle of violences and 10 unlawful cars, in addition to weapons and ammunition.
