#2 Topkick should be standing tall before the man - troop welfare like this is part of his duty. Squad leader and sponsor should have been on this and altered the 1SG. That they weren't tells me this 1SG was not keeping his NCO leadership trained and in touch. Doesn't happen in combat arms units very often, andshitbirds get filtered fast. This was a blanket folding unit. Draw your own conclusions. |

#1 FNG to Fort Hood with recent death in the family. Who was his sponsor? Where was the [so called] enlisted chain of command? What did the squad leader, platoon sergeant, first sergeant, or Sergeant Major know or do ? Medical records? Prescriptions? Patient referral? Notifications to chain-of-command ? |
