#7 It wouldn't have done anything re: Syria because there are Russian naval bases on the Black Sea near Novorossiysk. And they're supposedly in better shape than the ones in Crimea. |

#4 In my view, what is taking place in Syria is unrelated and essentially a non-issue. The west "wins" simply by sitting back and watching. A similar strategy should be undertaken in other locations. I would offer the CAR, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Melawi, Namibia, South Africa, Cuba, and Venezuela as prime examples. Why deny totalitarianism to those who appear to enjoy it so much ? |
