| IDF Soldier Injured By Gunfire From Smugglers On Egypt Border |

| [Ynet] An IDF soldier was lightly injured from shrapnel during a gunfire exchange with a group of smugglers on the Egyptian border, south of the border with the Gazoo Strip. He was injured in his upper body and evacuated to an outpost for further care. The soldiers were working to sabotage a smuggling operation on the border when an IDF jeep was damaged and its windshield shattered by gunfire. |
