| [Tolo News] Unknown gunnies in cycle of violences rubbed out a judge of Karokh district of western Herat ...a venerable old Persian-speaking city in western Afghanistan, populated mostly by Tadjiks, which is why it's not as blood-soaked as areas controlled by Pashtuns... and his bodyguard early Monday, local officials said. The attack on Qazi Abdul Latif and his bodyguard took place in Angeel district of the province, said Abdul Raouf Ahmadi, the front man for the police chief. "He was on his way to the office and unknown gunnies rubbed out him and his bodyguards," he said. The police have started investigations about the incident. No group including the Taliban has grabbed credit for the incident. The Taliban and other forces of Evil frequently target Afghan officials with links to the government. |
