| Attack on Top Afghan Intelligence Official Foiled |

Wednesday morning in Kabul before launching an attack on the Afghan's intelligence agency's number two, Mohammad Zia, said the National Directorate of Security (NDS). The plot comes after the Taliban blamed the Afghan intelligence agency for the recent liquidations of Taliban leaders in Pakistain. The criminal mastermind of the attack was Shafiqullah, an origin of Tagab district in north of Kabul, the NDS said. The two others are identified as Gul Khan of Nangarhar The unfortunate Afghan province located adjacent to Mohmand, Kurram, and Khyber Agencies. The capital is Jalalabad.
