[DAWN] The Sunni Tehrik ...formed in Karachi in 1992 under by Muhammad Saleem Qadri. Ulema Board presented on Monday a 12-point peace formula to the government for security of Milad processions. According to board chairman Ghufran Mahmood Sialvi, the board asked the government to consult Brailvi sect Learned Elders of Islam over the security of processions and issue a new code of conduct ignoring the recent one presented by "state-sponsored holy mans". |
