Watch Out Joe, They're Bombing Guam |
2013-12-06 |
If they're spending 8 million to drop 2,000 dead mice to poison the invasive brown tree snakes, you'd think if after taking out half of that amount in overhead and paying 20 cents a head for the critters you'd could get 20 million of the blighters from bounty hunters. A better return than on recycling aluminum cans. They'd become as rare as buffalo. |

#4 Since Guam is both an overt + covert strategic testing area for the US, it wouldn't surpise me at all iff not-a-few RFID Chip implants or related variant end up being ingested by the snakes for Satellite + Drone, etc. detection. D *** NG IT, IFF GUAM IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR THE AURORA + GLOBAL PROMPT STRIKE, SPACE STRIKE + SPACE DEFENSE, ITS GOOD ENOUGH FOR KINDER, GENTLER DOMESTIC DRONES + FUTURE DA ARNUUULD-STYLE CYBERGENETIC TERMINATORS! The idea of introducing anti-snake natural predators has drawn much skepticism since many of the proposed predator specias also hunt birds + other in addition to the snakes. Perhaps the good news in all this is that the Snakes get BBBUUUURRRPPP tasty mice for their Thanksgiving + Xmas season??? |

#3 They should promote falcony as a sport. Same with Australia in the rabbit flooded areas. |

#2 Its okay for the snakes to die of a Tylenol overdose but its not okay to send unemployed locals into the woods to capture them for bounty. The EPA has a large PETA/EarthFirst contingent onboard and we can't shoot bambi or freaking kill an invasive reptile... |

#1 Haven't they done this in the past? Or did it take this long to get the EPA OK. |
