| Two killed in drive-by shooting in Cairo's Heliopolis |

| [Al Ahram] A policeman and a civilian were rubbed out in a drive-by shooting in Cairo's Heliopolis district early on Friday, Egyptian state TV reported. Unknown assailants in two private cars opened fire indiscriminateatly at a police unit in El-Nozha neighborhood. Another policeman was injured in the attack. It was the second such attack in the capital in recent days. On Wednesday, unknown assailants shot up an army/security checkpoint from a rooftop in Giza's Mohandessin district. At least three suspects were tossed in the slammer Drop the heater, Studs, or you're hist'try! after the attack in which no deaths were reported. |
