| #5 Howze called police, telling a dispatcher she was a former mayoral candidate who had just completed a news conference. “I thought that if I explained who I was that it might illustrate the state of mind I was in,” Howze said. “I was hoping for a faster response time.” Like Rambler sed, I wonder what a non-pol would have gotten for as response. |

| #4 I wonder what the cop would have told a non-politician. The cops took 20 minutes to arrive. As Glenn Reynolds is fond of saying: "When seconds count, the police are minutes away." |
