Economy
Touring the gun factory that's leaving Connecticut
2013-05-30
Synopsis: A view of small firearms firm, typical of the small New England factories I knew and worked in ages ago.

The company is hiring, salaries are good, production has doubled and orders are backlogged a "few years". It's a situation pleasantly different from the rest of Connecticut's economy.

But it's not just the business' condition that's at odds with the State. It's its product. And that's why it's moving.

#5  I saw Florida, Texas - at least two places including Mineral Wells - and Mississippi as well.

Connecticut will likely lose a few more. PRT merely has been the most open about it.

#4  Took some searching, South Carolina, and welcome.

(On the computer screen in the "Tour" has a "Welcome to South Carolina" Notation)

#1  The staff confronted the armed Newtowne, Conneticut intruder when he was trying to enter the building. They were unarmed, the intruder was armed. It is criminal that they were unarmed. But Conneticut doubled down on being even more unarmed after the Newtowne massacre of the staff and children. Liberals aren't just mentally ill, they are completely insane.
