#3 Procopius2k, they simply issue bonds in the US and then pay dividends from this cash raised. Nowadays the problem international cos have is not attracting capital but how to pay dividents out of their tax free earnings. |

#2 Last September, when we exposed the heretofore unknown entity actively managing Apple's $100 billion+ in offshore held cash (and thus untaxed in the US)... Seems more like a breach of fiduciary responsibility to the stock holders, if the management plan is to sit on it. It should have been distributed as dividends, which would have been taxed. |
