some 250 km north of Storied Baghdad, when two boom-mobiles detonated coordinately in the southwestern part of the city, killing 10 people and wounding 13 others, a local police source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.

In a separate attack, a roadside kaboom went kaboom! near a police patrol in a village near Kirkuk, damaging a police vehicle and wounding two coppers aboard, the source said.

Elsewhere, a jacket wallah on a booby-trapped cycle of violence attacked a police patrol in the town of Tarmiyah, some 40 km north of Storied Baghdad, killing a policeman and wounding four others, a local police source anonymously told Xinhua.

#5  It would be interesting to see what happens if Iraq intervenes on Assad's side by sending artillery, tanks and infantry.

Very unlikely..... but just in case I've covered my popcorn short.

#3  Interesting indeed Zhang Fei, particularly if the contributions turn out to be US materials provided the Iraqi army.

#2  Gulf Arab money for Syrian Sunnis may be making its way to Iraq. It would be interesting to see what happens if Iraq intervenes on Assad's side by sending artillery, tanks and infantry.
