Russian special interior troops have killed four terrorists insurgents in the Russian republic of Ingushetia, the National Anti-terrorism Committee (NAK) said Monday. One serviceman was also killed, according to the NAK website.
The anti-terror operation started at 5:00 a.m. Moscow time in the village of Dolakovo. After the terrorists militants were blocked in a private home and refused to surrender, a three hour clash erupted.
Four terrorists militants were killed, two of them have been identified as the Ozdoyev brothers. According to NAK, they masterminded a suicide bombing on the administrative border's check-point last October which killed two policemen. |
