![]() "If that's Franklin I'm Big Macintosh." Authorities say they responded to two attempts last week to pass funny money at Prescott businesses. The Daily Courier reports that an officer who responded to a thrift store noted that one of the bills had an image of Honest Abe instead of Ben Franklin. The officer also wrote in a report that the bill was softer than standard currency and had been printed in a lighter color. Wrong century, beauzeau. A grocery store manager noticed the same flaws with another C-note at the second business. Police say descriptions of a man who fled from both businesses match. No charges have been filed. Hopefully, he'll think he succeeded and slip up. |

#1 I don't believe printing incorrect currency is actually a crime. |
