[Iran Press TV] At least seven people have been killed and 23 others have been injured in a kaboom outside the Kandahar University in southern Afghanistan.The incident happened when an exploding car went
kaboom!near the entrance to the university campus in the Kandahar Province.
"The incident took place at the gate of the Kandahar University in which seven non-combatants were killed and 23 others were maimed," said Javed Faisal, a front man for the provincial governor.
No group has grabbed credit for the attack and it is not yet clear if university students were among the victims.
Earlier this week, a roadside kaboom struck a bus in the Ghazni Province, killing at least five passengers and wounding 11 others.
The incident occurred along the road near the Ghazni city on Sunday when the bus was travelling from Kabul to the city of Kandahar in the southeast.
