#11 My Mom let me know about this. My folks still live in the area. I read the article and the comments at the link. It appeared to me that the commentators didn't think that this was a serious threat. To my recollection the Weather Underground was a serious threat in the 70's. I would think that the current crop of leftist bozos has much more information available on the internet, can use social media for coordination and can use cell phones for remote detonation. Bozos are now doubly deadly. |

#8 Heinlein: Those who refuse to support and defend a state have no claim to protection by the state. Killing an anarchist should not be defined as “murder” in a legalistic sense. The offense against the state, if any, should be “Using deadly weapons inside city limits,” or “Creating a traffic hazard,” or “Endangering bystanders,” or other misdemeanor. |

#7 Anarchists should be treated to al the due respect and due process they would give members of society: None. They've chosen the rules, so make them play by them: a quick execution. After all, in a complete anarchy, the first up against the wall are the anarchists. |

#6 Occupy Cleveland also issued a statement Monday, saying that “while the group arrested Monday evening by the FBI were associated with Occupy Cleveland, they were in no way representing or acting on behalf of Occupy Cleveland or the event that was planned for later today at the GE Lighting building." The May Day event at GE was sponsored by Occupy Cleveland, the North Shore AFL-CIO, Cleveland Jobs with Justice, Fight for a Fair Economy and SEIU Local 1, the statement said. The event was cancelled, however, because of “the alleged actions of the autonomous group arrested (Monday) night,” the statement said, adding that “Occupy Cleveland has had affirmed principles of non-violence since its inception on October 6, 2011.” "Today's event Occupy GE (General Electric) was canceled because there were rumors these guys were involved,” said Debbie Kline of Jobs with Justice. “They were NEVER at the table. “It’s been over a month we've been planning this. We will do this in the future. We'll do this again. But it would have been in bad taste to do today." |

#5 ...I know that bridge well, as a native Clevelander I've traveled over it literally a thousand times. It's close enough to my Dad's place that if they'd have pulled it off he would have heard it go. If he hadn't actually been ON the bridge. Mike |

#4 Apparently one of the Cleveland Leaders was involved. OCCUPIED — Occupy Cleveland organizer Brandon Baxter gets some shade in the Occupy Cleveland tent in downtown Cleveland on March 21, 2012. Baxter, one of the few remaining members of Occupy Cleveland’s physical presence downtown, said the group has seen a sharp decline in numbers since last October because of increasing disorganization. “We need guidance,” he said. |
