| Shuttle Discovery Makes its Last Fight - to the Smithsonian |

| WASHINGTON - History will be made today as NASA's oldest and most traveled shuttle leaves the Kennedy Space Center and heads to the Smithsonian's Udvar-Hazy Center[located just south of Dulles Airport]. The same radio station, from whence came the linked article, had interviews with three intelligent folks on the airwaves at 5:30 (a.m.). All thought retiring the shuttle was shortsighted, given all the new discoveries made as a result of the space program. Discoveries with the Discovery! Get it? |
