Mr. Sowell described how Mr. Bell, a happy and very successful civil rights lawyer, was hired to teach at the Stanford and Harvard law schools, where it quickly became clear to all concerned he was not capable of performing up to expectations. No wonder he became bitter, teaching his bitterness to others similarly 'blessed'. |
