Iran lawmaker: 'New IAEA report imaginary, immature'
2011-11-15
[Iran Press TV] An Iranian politician has dismissed the latest report by the ineffective International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on the Iran's nuclear program, and described it as "imaginary and immature."

Member of the Majlis (parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Committee Parviz Sorouri said on Monday that the report lacks legality, and that it does not deserve attention, Fars News Agency reported.

He termed the report issued by UN nuclear agency on Iran as "childish" and based on unfounded allegations.

IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano's latest report on Iran's nuclear activities was circulated among the 35 members of the Board of Governors on November 8, ahead of the seasonal meeting of the board, which is scheduled to be held in Vienna from November 17 to 18.

Iran dismissed the report as "unbalanced, unprofessional and prepared with political motivation and under political pressure by mostly the United States."

The United States, Israel, and some of their allies accuse Tehran of pursuing military objectives in its nuclear program.

However,
death is not the end. There remains the litigation over the estate...
as a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and a member of the IAEA, Iran says it has the right to develop and acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

The IAEA has conducted numerous inspections of Iranian nuclear facilities but has never found any evidence indicating that Iran's civilian nuclear program has been diverted towards nuclear weapons production.
