signed another peace deal here on Tuesday.

"The violators of the accord will be fined Rs0.8 million," elders of both the rival tribes agreed.

The agreement between the two warring tribes was inked at Governor Cottage in Parachinar. The elders of Bangash and Turi tribes gathered to shun differences and reached understanding for living a peaceful life.

Kurram Political Agent Shahab Ali Shah, Javedullah and members of tribal jirga were present on the occasion.

Haji Bakht Jamal Bangash and Advocate Mir Zaman Bangash singed the peace agreement on the behalf of Bangash tribe while Haji Rahmat and Engineer Wazir Ali inked it as representatives of Turi tribe.

According to the agreement the violators will pay Rs0.8million fine as penalty. The elders of both the tribes appreciated the efforts of tribal jirga and political administration for restoration of peace in the area. They vowed to live like brothers and take care of interests of each other.

The political agent congratulated the tribal elders for reaching an understanding to shun difference and restore peace in the region.

He also lauded the role of tribal jirga in bringing both the sides to the negotiating table and extended all out cooperation to both the tribes in resolving their problems.
