Egypt and Soddy Arabia are following Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu closely on YouTube according to data published by the Prime Minister's Office. A report to mark the first year of operations of the PMO's social media channels found that 18% of surfers who have watched YouTube video clips of Netanyahu are from Egypt, second only to the US (23.4%). The figures also show that Israel only comes in third place, with 15% of total viewers. Surfers from Soddy Arabia made up 11% of viewers. There are 100 video clips on Netanyahu's YouTube channel; according to the Prime Minister's Office statistics, which has so far had 290,000 viewings, 20% from mobile handsets. The most viewed clip on the channel is Netanyahu's Ramadan greetings, which received 80,000 hits, 60% from Arab countries. Egyptians are also very active on Netanyahu's Facebook page and Twitter account, the status of which is many times presented in Arabic along witih Hebrew and English. Netanyahu's Facebook page has 17,400 friends, 52% of which are men. More than 10,000 surfers, who follow Netanyahu on Twitter, have tweeted 770 times this past year. According to data from the Prime Minister's Office and Twitter Analytics, the US is leading considerably in the number of surfers who follow Netanyahu, with New York, the leading state.
