| #10 Did you ever see the movie "Idiocracy" about a dumbed-down America? It is now coming true. That's one explanation. The movie was funny in a way that left a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach. The numbers are most likely being reported by biased polls. As Procopius2k said the polls are being put out by the same people who said 80% of the people want higher taxes. Joseph Goebbels was particularly good at telling the big lie often. The LSM are accomplices. |

| #9 O'Bumble is under siege. I have trouble understanding why his numbers are still relatively high. Easy: the coalition of tax-eaters, government employees & those in the pseudo-private sector whose fat salaries depend entirely upon the perpetuation of the regulatory state (many attorneys, all lobbyists, most accountants, etc.) approaches, and probably exceeds 50% of the population. |

| #3 Latest job numbers 418,000; been above 400,000 for 15 months. Steve Wynn also went on a rant a few days ago about the business unfriendly climate created by Washinton. Latin America leaders have been criticizing the administration about the debt limit business. I guess they are afraid they won't get their boodle on time. O'Bumble is under siege.
