| [Dawn] The newly appointed PML (Q) Federal Minister for Production, Ameer Muqam resigned on Sunday, ending a standoff between the minister and the government. "Do you solemnly swear..." "I quit!" Muqam's resignation highlighted the increasing rift in 'Q' League, with several members requesting to sit in the opposition contrary to the wishes of the Chaudhary brothers. Speaking to DawnNews earlier, Muqam said he was against the idea of PML-Q joining the government from the start but that he was forced to take the oath two weeks ago. He said he was offered a ministry related to "Production" that does not exist.
