Palestinian killed in Gaza explosion
2011-01-23
[Asharq al-Aswat] A Paleostinian was killed and two others were seriously maimed in an kaboom in the Gazoo Strip on Saturday, the Hamas, always the voice of sweet reason, interior ministry said.
Work accident?
Paleostinian emergency services had said earlier the casualties were the result of Israeli artillery fire, a report denied by Israel's military.
That's what they get for hiring the colourblind to assemble the things. But when the family trees aren't even barber poles, there is less to choose from.
The blast was caused by an unwent kaboom! shell left over from Israel's assault on Gazoo in December 2008-January 2009, according to the interior ministry of the Islamist movement Hamas which controls Gazoo.
Ohhhh... they weren't assembling, they were hammering it apart. It wasn't about seeing colour, then.
The three Paleostinian casualties, aged in their 20s, were taken to Shifa hospital in Gazoo City after the incident which took place to the east.

An Israeli military front man earlier denied the army was involved in what he termed "an internal Paleostinian affair," meaning an accident while handling explosives.

A mortar shell was fired on Friday from Gazoo, he said, without causing casualties or damage as it landed in the Negev desert.
"We're Israel. We don't need to actual fire anything to cause casualties and damage. We can do it with history and our minds," he explained thoughtfully.

Hammering a live shell says it all; good one.

#2  'Range Check' for the coming festivities?

Last I heard, Mullah Richard, the Gazans had reached the "couldn't hit the broad side of a barn" level of accuracy with the things. A good portion land somewhere unmentioned within Gaza itself.
