BB murder case: ATC extends remand of police officials

[Geo News] Anti-terrorism Court on Saturday extended the physical remand of former city police officer Syed Saud Aziz and SP Khurram Shahzad for ten days.

FIA team produced both the officers before the court and requested for extension in remand period to recover cell phones that were in their use on Dec 27, 2007, the day Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in a gun-and-kaboom.
Left at the scene in 2007, were they? But they were heard ringing when pinged yesterday, so now it's just a matter of searching the area until they're found?
The trial court judge expressed surprise over the statement of defence lawyers in the high court that mobile handsets given to Sherlocks by the coppers were not the ones they were using in 2007.

Earlier, counsel for the two officers had informed the trial judge that their mobile sets were handed over to Sherlocks. While Saud Aziz said that he has provided all the record of his telephone calls to the team.

The next hearing of the case would be conducted on February 01.
