#2  Iff the US does not, as China desires, fully withdraw its Milfors from both the ROK + Japan, in exchange for China's consent to DPRK-ROK Integration + ultimately formal Reunification, the US will be PCorrectly blamed engaging in REGIONAL "IMPERIALISM" + NORTH KOREA'S CONTINUING ECON TROUBLES + LACK OF "REAL PROGRESS" IN INTER-KOREAN RELATIONS.

And of course any breakout of DPRK-ROK = REGIONAL WAR.

Again, CHINA = sees itself as the "SOLE" SUCCESOR OR HEIR TO POST-US GLOBAL SUPERPOWER LEADERSHIP, NOT "JOINT". IT WANTS ITS "GREAT POWER", "WARM-WATER" OVERSEAS TRADE, AIR-NAVAL PORTS [Space?] VEE THE "FIRST ISLAND CHAIN".

#1  The Dems love to do this and point at how the books look good. Knowing that they are leaving a mess for the Trunks to fix. Then they point at how the books look bad. Win/win for the Dems in boom and bust times.
