| ANP leader potted in Mardan |

| [Pak Daily Times] An Awami National Party (ANP) leader was killed in an ambush in Mardan on Thursday. According to police, unidentified motorcyclists sprayed the car of Mardan ANP Information Secretary Jehar Khan Hoti with bullets. He sustained wounds on his chest and head and pegged out on way to hospital. Soon after the incident, police cordoned off the area but the killers managed to escape. Police have collected important evidence from the scene of the crime and started the paperwork but haven't done much else. Meanwhile, ...back at the ranch... Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa ... formerly NWFP, still Terrorism Central... Chief Minister Ameer Haider Hoti condemned the killing of Jehar Hoti and termed his death an irreparable loss for the party. |
