| Six killed in Pakistan's restive northwest |

| (PTI) Three Islamic exemplar commanders were among six persons killed in festivities between a pro-government militia and Taliban fighters in the lawless Orakzai Agency ... crawling with holy men, home to Darra Adam Khel, the world's largest illegal arms bazaar... in northwest Pakistain today, official sources said. The festivities erupted in Saifaldar town in Orakzai Agency, which borders Afghanistan. Three snuffies were maimed in the fighting that continued till the evening, the sources said. In a separate development, the bodies of Islamic exemplar commander Gul Shareef, his son and his nephew were found beside a road in Saifaldar. It could not immediately be ascertained who had killed them. |
