A khasadar, Raees Khan, was injured when unidentified cut-throats opened fire on him during the operation. The security forces used gunship helicopters to pound the hideouts of suspected cut-throats in Ziarai Mountain during the search operation. Earlier, cut-throats had taken away important equipment from the towers of two cellular services providing companies from mountaintop, rendering cell phone service dysfunctional in Landikotal and its adjoining areas. |
