Portland city officials meet with Muslims to discuss security
2010-11-30
Since that's where their security lies...

#15  "I agree with the FBI in thwarting acts of violence against cities," Najieb said. "But why should they wait until I do it until I'm arrested? They can pick you or I up for a threat. Whatever happened to probable cause?"
Because probable cause was used for the monitoring. They (FBI) needed to see how serious this fella was. According to all of the newspaper reporting, this fella was deadly serious. If any of the FBI people encouraged this, the AUSA would never have picked it up for prosecution realizing an entrapment defense. Najieb, YOU can try and claim whatever you want to, but, youÂ’re only going to fool the dhimmis among us. Thank God, there arenÂ’t that many. The rest of us are waiting for you to show your true colors. Our colors donÂ’t run!

#14  I would invite them to a Catholic, Christian, and Jewish service. They would not go but it would be nice to hear the excuses why (I am sure it's a religious reason).

#13  Dr. Shukri Osman, an internist who traveled to Portland 25 years ago, said her main concern was retaliation against her children and against area mosques.
Interesting word that, retaliation:
To return like for like, especially evil for evil.
To pay back (an injury) in kind.

However, more to the point, her statement smacks of Judeo/Christophobia, which like its counter party Islamophobia, is surely a "hate-crime"
If Shukri is so obviously spouting hate speech, why aren't they throwing the book at her and locking her away for life?

#12  No UK, that is not a joke. It Mohamedans encouraging city hall to learn the tenants of Islam which was what the attempting explosion was based on, not Christianity which was what the lighting of the Christmas tree was all about. But women, make sure you cover yo self with a big black sheet first. Kapish?

#11   "We'd like you to come to our mosques, come to our homes, to understand Islam, our religion," Osman said. You'll see that "we're not strangers and we're not aliens."
The above statement is a joke, right ?

I hate to sound so cynical about all this, but the whole thing smells of a self-administered fake hate crime.

With the benefit of destroying evidence.

#9  Wanna know why najieb, because your self proclaimed overwatch CAIR and co. have made it a big deal when the FBI or whoever does a preemptive pickup. "No no non, they were not really going to drive pizza delivery vehicles onto base then start shooting. Just kids being kids ha ha." Here is the consequence that this jackass is apparently guilty as shit to the point I wonder if the detonator was a joy buzzer.

#8  Or maybe a 'work accident', Sgt. Mom. (Probably not, but must not overlook the possibility.)

#7  Convenient timing, an interior room, an incendiary device, much smoke and not much damage ... I hate to sound so cynical about all this, but the whole thing smells of a self-administered fake hate crime.

#4  The comments on the article are interesting.

People are getting it - even in Oregon.

#3  Personally, I would have preferred to meet with the FBI to discuss security, rather than the Muslims.

#2  No taquya. The masters expressed their displeasure, and the dhimmis groveled and begged forgiveness.

#1  It must have been quite the taquiyya-fest.
