New wave of seizures threatens private property in Venezuela |

[El Universal] Steelmaker Siderúrgica del Turbio (Sidetur) issued a statement on November 1 assuring that there are no objective reasons to justify the seizure of the company. The owners of the firm said that they are concerned that people may be misled with statements that Sidetur sells rebars at high prices when the company has rather met price regulations strictly. Sidetur said that the company will take legal actions to safeguard the rights of workers, clients, suppliers and shareholders |
