NDakota Oil Production to hit 350k barrels/day by year end |

Three years ago, NDakota was producing under 100k barrels/day. There are now over 5000 wells currently producing and 150 drilling rigs now working. There is a good chance the state may hit 400k barrels per day within a year which would be about 8% of US domestic production. |

#2 Putting things in perspective, in 2008 the US was consuming 19,498K barrels/day. It imported 57% of its oil consumption that year. My calculator indicates that the cited ND oil production is 1.8% of that total consumption. |
