| Firing at Jirga in Peshawar kills 3, wounds 2 |

| (KUNA) -- At least three people were killed and two were wounded in a firing incident at a Jirga on Friday in Pakistani northern city of Peshawar, said police. Two rival business groups, belonging to the tribal region, were holding talks to resolve their differences when one of the members of a group opened fire, police sources told KUNA. They said the Jirga was also being attended by senior tribal elders. Sources said that the incident left three persons killed and two wounded. Police cordoned off the area and was conducting investigations. |
