| European authorities, acting on the U.S. intelligence, have been searching for a suspected hit team led by a man who may have trained at a terrorist camp in Parkistan, an intelligence official said. The suspected group leader is known only as "Mauritani," the official said. Investigators suspect Mauritani has about six supporters. Their identities and appearances aren't known. German intelligence officials are monitoring dozens of suspected militants who have gone to Pakistan and Afghanistan for military training organized by Islamist terrorist groups, according to two intelligence officials. |
