#12  Just image a utopia where salt, sugar, and fat are outlawed but coke and meth are legal. /sarc off

#11  I can just imagine it legalized here in the states.

Wal-Mart will buy it from growers in China and Budweiser will do the marketing.

#10  Heave forbid that kiddies would get access to them either. Just think about all that advertising and peer pressure that has bombarded them to induce them to use the substances just like the tobacco companies. It'll never happen with hard drugs.

Just image a utopia where salt, sugar, and fat are outlawed but coke and meth are legal. /sarc off

#9  People seem to forget that these drugs are NOT innocuous. Even marijuana has some significant side effects. The government in the past went overboard with the Reefer Madness approach. However, do you want your airline pilot, or surgeon, stoned?

#8  Don't let's forget that a share of the cocaine profits go directly into Hizb'allah and Al Qaeda coffers, whereas a significant cut of the Heroin and Hashish profits go directly into Taliban coffers. Perhaps we should send up the cry, "Grow here, grow now!" just as we say, "Drill here, drill now!" about the oil we in the West import from Saudi Arabia, Iran, Nigeria, Venezuela, and all the other countries using our money to fight against us.

#7  Ya I agree with Bulldog, lets just give in to the drug lords and make it legal in the US. That will do it. The corruption in South America will stop, all the trafficking and associated human trafficking will end, it will be a miracle! So will we allow out youth to get just pot, or should we allow the crystal meth crossing over, how about the Cocain? And don't forget the Heroin! For Christs sake, this make it legal and it will go away is a crock of shit! Just like if we hug the muzzies and Koran the will stop trying to kill us. The Drug lords have taken over the countries and enslaved the people. By legalizing it they will become the dictators of the future.

#5  Moose had a duplicate post (removed) with this comment:

The cartels have yet to learn from the leftists that the best way to get favorable press is to own the press.

To which I reply:

Nah. The Islamicists own the press just by threatening to behead them ...

#4  Faster than the USA, where it took the lefties decades to achieve the same results.

It does kinda make you wonder.

#3  I do hope the War on Drugs will be won soon so that we don't have to worry anymore that bums and other losers might gain access to mind-altering substances. God forbid that should happen.

/sarc.

Isn't it time to consider decriminalisation or legalisation, so that we can take the trade out of the hands of these psychotic criminals? Or shall we continue to pretend this sort of crime isn't an inevitable manifestation of the stupidity we call the War on Drugs?

#1  "The fact that they're giving up is really bad. It's an indication that the situation is out of control."

Really!? "The situation is out of control"!? Thanks for the news flash buddy.
