| Two cars explode in Bahrain |

| [The Wire Service That Shall Not Be Named] On the heels of a government crackdown on Shiites, the cars of two Sunni Bahrainis, one of whom works for the interior ministry, blew up near the capital, Manama. Two hundred fifty have been arrested, among them 23 political activists accused of plotting to overthrow the government. Most are Shiites, as are the majority of Bahrainis, whereas the ruling family are Sunni. |
