| [Bangla Daily Star] Mob beat to death an unidentified robber at Pashchim Jangalia village of Comilla sadar upazila in the wee hours yesterday. No, we don't know where that is. Police said a gang of 15 to 20 attacked the house of Sirajul Islam around 1:45am. "Yar, we be the bandits of Pashchim Jangalia! Open the door and surrender!" Hearing screams, local people chased the bandits and managed to catch one. "Curly toed track shoes, don't fail me now!" Sub-inspector Monirul Islam of Kotwali Police Station said the angry villagers beat up the robber and he died on the spot. THUMP! KAPOW! THUD! "....rosebud..." Police sent the body to Comilla Medical College Hospital for autopsy. "Dr. Quincy, package for you." |
