[Minneapolis Star-Tribune] Two St. Paul cops spotted what looked like a drug transaction at a White Castle parking lot in November 2008. The perps were ordered to stick their mitts in the air. Frank Irving Wiggins did that and ended up with his Pants on the Ground™. Officer Kara Breci pulled his pants up for him and found a .38 in his pocket. "Is that a .38 in yer pocket or are you glad to see me?" asked Ms. Police. "Not mine," said Frank. "Somebody musta left it there." Frank was convicted of possession of a firearm by an ineligible person and got five years in jug. He challenged the legality of Officer Friendly pulling his drawers up for him. The judge wrote that Ms. Police's actions weren't a search, but "incidental contact." "Perhaps [Breci] decided to raise Wiggins' pants to afford him a bit of dignity regardless of her planned search.
