20 Die in Northern Mexico
Twenty individuals were murdered in ongoing drug and gang related violence in northern Mexico including the second Chihuahua, Chihuahua police commander murdered in two days.

- An unidentified man was found dead inside an SUV in Juarez late Friday night, according to Mexican press accounts. The discovery was made near the intersection of calles Municipio Libre and Heroes del Carrizal where a Jeep Cherokee was found with the victim inside.
- Two men were shot to death in separate crimes in Juarez Saturay, according to the Mexican daily La Polaka . Jesus Ruben Gutierrez Roa, 32, was shot at his residence near the intersection of calles Parral and Jimenez in the Infonavit Fidel Velazquez district. In the second crime Arturo Moralez Baronde, 38, was shot to death as he sat in his Cadillac Escalade near the intersection of calles Miguel de la Madrid and Bambu in the Heroes de la Revolucion district, shot with a 9mm weapon.
- Four unidentified individuals were shot to death in two separate crimes Saturday in Juarez, according to Mexican daily La Polaka. Two men were shot in front of a residence near the intersection of calles Berilio and Donato Guerra in the Arroyo Colorado district. A pair of armed suspects dismounted from a Jeep Cherokee and shot the pair eight times total. In the second murders, two men were shot to death near the intersection of calles Isla Sumatra and Islas Malvinas in the 16 de Septiembre district. The victims were aboard a Dodge Intrepid when they were shot.
- Two unidentified men were shot to death at a residence in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Saturday afternoon, according to Mexican press sources. The attack took place near the intersection of Calle Humberto Mariles and Avenida Heroico Colegio Militar in the Nombre de Dios district. The pair were shot inside the garage of a residence.
- An unidentified man was shot to death in Juarez Saturday afternoon, say Mexican press reports. The attack took place as the victim was walking near the intersection of calle Rio Nilo and Rio Gila in the Cordova Americas district. The victim was on foot when he was attacked.
- A Chihuahua, Chihuahua police commander was murdered Saturday in the second attack on a Chihuahua city police commander in two days. the attack took place near the intersection of calles Alamillo and Ignacio Rodriguez in the Pedro DomÃÂnguez district where Francisco Sänchez was patrolling aboard his official Ford Ranger when armed suspects travelling in a convoy shot the police to death.
- Four unidentified men were shot to death at a residence in Juarez Saturday evening, say Mexican press accounts. The attack took place near the intersection of Sierra Negra and Montes Urales in the La Cuesta district where the four were drinking in the patio of residence. Their attackers burst into the area and fired several shots.
- An unidentified man was found shot to death in Tijuana, Baja California Saturday morning, according to Mexican news reports. The victim was found in the Las Torres district shot several times in the head. Three .45 ACP spent cartridges casing were found at the scene.
- Four unidentified men were shot to death in two separate crimes in Juarez Saturday evening, according to the Mexican daily La Polaka. The first crime took place near the intersection of calles Paseo de la Nobleza and Honor in the Palmas del Sol district, where the victims were killed inside of an abandoned residence. In the second crime, two men were digging a ditch near the intersection of calles Talamas Camandari and Mar Azul in the Parajes del Sur district when they were shot to death.
