I wanted to come down to Fort Bliss mainly to say thank you and to say welcome home.

IÂ’m going to make a speech to the nation tonight. ItÂ’s not going to be a victory lap. ItÂ’s not going to be self-congratulatory. ThereÂ’s still a lot of work that weÂ’ve got to do to make sure that Iraq is an effective partner with us. But the fact of the matter is that because of the extraordinary service that all of you have done, and so many people here at Fort Bliss have done, Iraq has an opportunity to create a better future for itself, and America is more secure.

#10  Unscientfic polls in this household and other people's say viewership waaaay down, I'd like the remote Adam Sandler had in click so I can skip over the unpleasantry of Obumbles lectures and neglect to watch his talking head.

#9  I routinely turn him off when I see him on tv (which is daily) or at least mute the sound. I really can't control my gag reflex enough to listen so read it after if it has anything of value (rare).
What I wonder is how many people now ignore him? Is there any data on the decline trendline in his viewership?

#8  I get to the point with guys like Obama when they have spouted so much bullshit that I just can't take anymore. I didn't listen to his speech. I turn the channel whenever he comes on the TV. Joe Wilson was right.

#7  Ya mean The One isn't as bright as was advertised, marketed and sold? The country is catching on. It is only the die-hard wing-nut left that still hangs in there and supports him no matter what. Some of them are jumping ship.

#6  nice. He calls an Oval Office press conference to take credit for a military victory he opposed, then uses the 2nd half as an economic campaign speech for November. Class will tell, and it says you have none, jerk.
