| A civil rights activist and former congressman equated the Tea Party with the Ku Klux Klan today as he blasted a conservative rally planned in Washington, D.C., this weekend. The Rev. Walter Fauntroy, Who? the non-voting delegate who represented the District of Columbia from 1971 to 1991, Oh, him ... called on African-Americans to organize a "new coalition of conscience" to rebut the rally scheduled for Saturday at the Lincoln Memorial featuring Fox News pundit Glenn Beck and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. "We are going to take on the barbarism of war, the decadence of racism, and the scourge of poverty, that the Ku Klux -- I meant to say the Tea Party," Fauntroy told a news conference today at the National Press Club. | #14 I was driving the other day in a trendy mostly white neighborhood and saw a crew working on a waterline. Typical 6-8 men,backhoe, scene. 6 black guys leaning on shovles watching and one white guy in a white shirt in the ditch with a shovel. startled me so much I stopped and commented. " Boy, if this dont blow the hell out of stereotypes". 3 of the black guys laughed. |

| #5 A True civil rights were predicated upon one fundamental issue of equality before the law. That died with 'social justice', 'diversity', and 'set asides' which promoted race over merit. Now those who've taken the power and privilege under false pretense are obviously distraught that real government of the people and by the people may reemerge. |
