9 Die in Northern Mexico
Nine individuals were murdered in violence in northern Mexican states which include two unidentified men shot to death at a nightspot in Juarez, Chihuahua.

- An unidentified woman in her 20s was found shot to death near Parral, Chihuahua Sunday, say Mexican press reports. The victim was found on an unpaved toad near the Los Jales area shot several times.
- Two unidentified men were shot to death near a nightspot in Juarez Sunday night, according to Mexican news reports. The shooting took place at the Plaza Trigal on calles Gomez Morin where armed suspects chased two victims into a bar and shot them using .40 caliber and 9mm pistols.
- Two unidentified men were found shot to death on a garbage dump in Juarez Monday morning, according to Mexican press accounts. The victims were found in the Arroya del Viboras in the Siglo XXI near the Carlos Salinas school. The victims were half dressed and had been tortured before they were shot.
- A man was found shot to death in Puerto Penasco, Sonora Sunday night, according to Mexican news accounts. Juan Antonio Rodriguez Nogales, 47, of Juarez, Chihuahua was vacationing in town with his girlfriend when he was found shot several times.
- A man was found shot to death near a school in Hermosillo, Sonora Sunday morning, according to Mexican new reports. Onesimus Guzman Zepeda, 48, was shot four times near the intersection of Bacobampo Alley and Navojoa Campillo in the Arco Mission district with .38 Super pistol at about 1100 hrs.
- A man was shot to death in front of his home in Hermosillo, Sonora Sunday night, according to Mexican press accounts. Gabriel Grijalva Palafox, 40, was shot while standing in the doorway of his home on Calle Grijalva by armed suspects riding aboard a Jeep Cherokee.
- A man was found shot to death in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, according to Mexican press accounts. José Angel Morlet Coss, 31, was found dead aboard his Nissan Altima bound and gagged. Investigators found a 9mm automatic pistol inside a residence.
